Conditional free shipping on Shopify, with the rules you choose
RM: Advanced Free Shipping makes Shopify shipping discounts that apply only when your conditions are met, on all rates, the cheapest rate or the rates you name.
RM: Advanced Free Shipping has one plan, called Unlimited. It costs $9.90 USD every 30 days after a 7-day free trial, billed by Shopify on your regular Shopify invoice. Every feature is in that plan, it’s the same price for every store size and Shopify plan, and there are no per-order fees. It’s free on development stores.
What the plan includes
- As many shipping discounts as you need, automatic or with a code.
- All four discount types: Free, Percentage, Fixed Amount Off and Fixed Price. See shipping discount types.
- Every way to pick rates: all shipping rates, the cheapest rate, or specific rates by exact name or keyword, plus excluding rates over a set price. See discount only the rates you choose.
- Shipping and local delivery.
- All 17 condition types, including cart total and subtotal, weight, quantity, products, collections, country, state, ZIP code, customer tag and order count. See conditional free shipping.
- Rule groups joined by AND and OR, and several delivery discounts in one discount.
- Customer segments, subscriptions, active dates and usage limits on codes.
- Fixed thresholds per currency, such as USD 75 and GBP 60.
- Test mode, so you can check a real checkout before customers see the discount.
- The admin in 7 languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese and Portuguese (Brazil).
- Free personalised setup and support 7 days a week from the developer, Brad, plus Kai, the in-app assistant that can see your discount settings.
Trial and billing
- The first time you open the app, Shopify asks you to approve the plan. The 7-day free trial starts then.
- If you uninstall during the trial, you’re never charged.
- After the trial, Shopify bills $9.90 USD every 30 days with your other Shopify charges. If your store is billed in another currency, Shopify bills it in that currency.
- There are no per-order or usage fees, however many orders use your discounts.
- Development and sandbox stores use the app for free. For a staging or Plus expansion store, chat with us.
- Each store needs its own install and plan. If you’re setting up several stores, chat with us.
What $9.90 runs on
RM: Advanced Free Shipping runs as a Shopify Function inside checkout, on every Shopify plan. You don’t need Shopify Plus or carrier-calculated shipping. It discounts the rates you already have, and adds nothing to your theme. Closing the app doesn’t affect your discounts. They keep running in checkout.
Cancelling and uninstalling
To cancel, uninstall the app: click the ⋯ menu at the top right of the app, then Uninstall. Shopify cancels the subscription for you.
Your shipping discounts run through the app, so they stop applying when you uninstall. Reinstalling doesn’t bring them back. If you might return, note your settings first.
