When the offer names a rate, takes a percentage or an amount off, or depends on the state, ZIP code, weight, products or customer tag, use RM: Advanced Free Shipping. It discounts all rates, the cheapest rate or the rates you name, with 17 condition types. It costs $9.90 USD every 30 days after a 7-day free trial, billed by Shopify.

The cart that decides it
The offer is free Standard shipping on orders of $75 or more, with Express at full price. The rates are Standard $7.95 and Express $19.95. A customer has an $85 cart.
- Shopify’s free shipping discount makes both rates free. To keep Express paid, you can exclude rates over $10. That works until a heavier order’s Standard rate costs more than $10, and then Standard isn’t free either.
- RM: Advanced Free Shipping targets the Standard rate by name. The $85 cart sees Standard at
$7.95Free and Express at $19.95, whatever either rate costs on the day.

What both share
Both create a Shopify discount, so both appear under Discounts in your admin and follow Shopify’s combination rules. Only one shipping discount applies to a rate, and Shopify gives the customer the one that saves the most. Build the offer in RM: Advanced Free Shipping
- Click Create Shipping Discount and choose Automatic discount or Discount code under Discount method.
- Under Conditions, add Cart total Is at least 75.
- Under Discount setup, choose Shipping, then Choose specific rates, and pick your Standard rate.
- Under Discount value, choose Free, then click Create discount.
